I can't remember if we've heard details on another Big East New Year's Eve slate of games again or not. Personally, I would love for us to have a marathon of games to open the conference season that night every season if we could.
Info anyone?

What about 2 triple headers with 3 games in MSG and 3 games in Chicago? Perhaps try to secure 1 game on Fox and the remaining on FS1. The major problem is that it would interfere with major bowl games which would always have precedent on TV.

I believe there will be a marathon of hoops. One of Butler's 2014 recruits posted a picture on his instagram showing the non-con and the very first game of the conference season, which will be on Dec. 31. Not sure who the opponent is yet.

The problem is you can't nave neutral sight conference games. It could potentially be something cool to do earlier in the season for non-conference games, but can't be done to open Big East play.

Exactly, who would want to give up their home game for that? Also the fact that 3 games in NYC and 3 games in Chicago would involve 12 teams and we know thats not going to happen.

I hope they do the NYE marathon again too. Last year's was really fun. With the exception of the Marquette/Creighton game, each game was really close and competitive. It definitely set the bar for the season.

NYC is a little preoccupied on NYE to have MSG host any game, let alone a triple header.

They are doing the marathon NYE conference openers again. BE schedule should be released in about 2 months.

That is good news. Hope it continues and becomes a NYE BE tradition every year!

I agree, I like it and hope they keep doing it every year.
