Gaining a partnership with not one, but two, SEC schools in Florida and Vanderbilt is a HUGE get for the Big East - even if it is in Women's Lacrosse. It's good for them too, as now they have recruiting access to lacrosse players in the Northeast and Midwest.

I don't know how huge it is. I mean, C-USA has affiliations with Alabama, Kansas, Kansas St, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia- and doesn't seem to be helping them out too much- they just got raided to kingdom come. It sounds cool and all that- but end of the day, is pretty meaningless. Now if there were scheduling agreements with them for basketball- that's a different animal altogether!!!
