Tyler Dorsey, a guard from St. John Bosco in California and the #12 overall player on 247 Sports ranking of players graduating in 2015, has announced that he has changed his mind from his January commitment to Arizona, according to CBC Sports.
According to the same article, two Big east schools, Marquette and St. John's, are 2 of the schools on his list, so obviously the Catholic school connection appears to help in getting his interest. He has a diverse list which also includes UConn from the Big east footprint as well as others from outside the P5 - UNLV, SMU, and Tulsa.

From what I read he wanted to play PG in college (and beyond) but at 6'4 it seems Miller & most others not in his inner circle feel he may really be a combo guard at this point. Not blaming Dorsey at all because as a 6'4 PG he'd be way more attractive and rare than as a SG. This is common issue nowadays for ballers with his height and skill level. I believe Shawn Livingston is the last person I recall that's actually pulled it off as a successful path to the league though.

Michael Carter-Williams from Syracuse was quite successful winning ROY in the nba as 6'6 pg. Kyle Anderson was a 6'9 PG for UCLA last year.

MCW after 1 season is considered a successful PG, really? Not saying he didn't look fantastic, but its 1 season on a horrible team. I remember when Tyreke Evans (6'6ish) won ROY playing PG for Sacramento, but he hasn't lasted as at the point since more like a SG now & a damn good one. Anyway you sound like you should know what I mean, it's hard af to be a "big" PG because you have to guard small PG's and that may be the deepest position in the NBA. Who is Kyle "SloMo" Anderson going to guard at the PG position next year?

You don't have to guard the guy that is listed as the same position as you. I imagine he would guard a SF if he made the team. There are a lot of players that can't guard anyone that are regarded as solid players (Kyrie Irving.)

That idea works well with forwards and some bigs, but with PG's if your team's PG doesn't do it who will, your 6'4+ SG, your 6'6+ SF, etc. Kyrie is a great example of a defensive liability at PG, which is why the Cavs starting backcourt of Irving & Waiters is so small to try to compensate IMO.
