The Big East finally has its administrative home in NYC after signing a 10-year lease at 655 Third Ave. at the southeast corner of East 42nd Street.

Probably referring to Denver (lacrosse).

Finally, this space is LONG overdue and it's sad that it took the media splash of the Big Ten opening office space for them to find a space to lease too! Now let's see how long it takes them to "entirely rebuild" the 7th floor office space, staff it, and officially open.

You think this happened in a week because of the Big Ten? The first and most important issue was always getting the fall sports going and more importantly basketball going. The offices were way down the list of important things that needed to get done. Thats why a month after the season ends we have a brand new office. It wasn't that important in the grand scheme of things. This is like the website all over again, uproar over nothing.

Yeah, that lack of permanent office space really messed up everything this year. I mean, no TV contract, we played our conference tournament in a mid-town YMCA gym, not one of our men's hoops players got any national awards or recognition. If we only had this office space last May, it could have all been so different...so different.
