The NBA puts on this showcase for seniors. Some get invites to NBA Summer Leagues, and others get to showcase their talents for foreign teams.

Batts is the first name on the roster.

He was added a couple hours ago after another player withdrew because of injury.

I hear you. I live in NYC but like to grab a Del's when up on the RI coast in the Summer.

Some reviews from the 1st day for Fuquan Edwin:

Seton Hall's Fuquan Edwin played really well in the second half after starting slowly in the early going, as he went on to score 22 points, and made all 3 of his threes in a win for his team. He really excelled as a three-point shooter off the catch, and also would beat his man to spots to make shots in transition.

Also, Edwin was able to make several strong drives to the hoop, and also generally excels as a scorer on fast break opportunities. Plus, he defended fairly well, as he was able to poke a ball away late in the second half to get a key steal for his team. He put forth a solid performance in this game, and looks to be a solid second round prospect for the upcoming draft.

Shawn Jones of Middle Tennessee registered a double-double when he scored 11 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and swatted four shots. He was a physical force on both sides of the ball and was ultimately too much for Portsmouth to handle. While Jones turned in an impressive game, it was Fuquan Edwin of Seton Hall who led the way with 22 points behind of 9-of-16 shooting from the field. Perhaps the best part of Edwin’s game, though, especially in the eyes of his coaches, was the fact that he saw room for improvement afterward:

Good 1st day, not to happy w/ my defense tho .."
