He took an official to Pitt last week then moved up his announce date to today.

Congrats on the good get! Hopefully this stems the tide of transfers and instability at SJU. Keep D'Lo and Rysheed and you guys should be alright for next year

There are rumors on Johnny Jungle that he might not qualify so I'll save the celebration until he actually suits up.

Right now there are rumors everywhere on St. John's. Today's was that D'Angello was transferring (which he is not). I'm paying little attention to the rumor mill at this point. He'll be ready to go.

Good to see he picked us over Pitt. Screw the ACC and long live the Big East.

THANK YOU! Someone who may actually know their role on the team and have a real skill set instead of being athletic in general. Make no mistake this kid is slow as molasses and can't jump over a sprinkle but he's a legitimate inside presence who is 6'11 right now and will probably grow into a true 7 footer. Realistically he's basically a 7 footer now so I'll take it. We know this guy isn't the next big thing, but he can definitely be a solid 4 year player. It brings some stability and he's a local NYC kid which is nice.

Yes he is still on the team and he has a year of eligibility left.
