Congrats to UConn and our fellow UConn fans including season ticket holder Bill Marsh of a fourth national championship since 1999... former Big East compatriots... fellow New England school... really amazing thinking back over the years of what they've accomplished... from the lean years of Karl Hobbs and Chuck Alexinas and Jim Abromaitis... to their 20+ year un now of great basketball... Napier is amazing and Ollie is a great coach...

Congratulations to UConn and the American Athletic Conference. They are having some type of initial year, winning the NCAA, the WNIT, and finishing second in the MNIT. And tonight, they will have no worse than another runner up for the Women's NCAA.

It is also interesting that UCONN was widely considered to be the school that got left in the dust with the conference realignment. How did they respond? Win the whole damn thing. No matter what you think of UCONN, that is one hell of a response.

I also agree with Shabazz in that it was garbage the NCAA banned those kids last year for academic issues with a team that competed 5 years prior. I am glad he stuck it to the NCAA with his "this is what happens when you ban us" comments.

You know who feels really bad today?

Cleveland Melvin, who committed to UConn four years ago, only to change his mind and switch to DePaul.

Good news is Cleve is killing it in the D-League right now.

I do miss having some of the old gang in the conference. How crazy would that be if they were to join us? Congrats to UConn for that title. Kinda sad to hear their predicament with the AAC though. They're not happy there and they've made it known that to everyone.
