That the following is the list of Catholic colleges/universities in the top 50 all time wins leaders?

28. Villanova (1584)
30. Georgetown (1569)
39. St. Joe's (1537)

Win percentage is a better statistic, because not all schools started playing at the same time.

Not really, because that would make Incarnate Word the greatest team in college basketball history:
Incarnate Word - .778
Kansas - .721
UCLA - .693
Indiana - .630
Though Providence at .611 would jump above St Joe's at .599 and Dayton at .593....!

That sucks. Three of those schools aren't in the league.

Amazing to me that SJ is 6th all time especially above some of those other insane schools. SJ has been basically terrible almost my entire life. The only way I hear about SJ glory days are from my uncles and other men with gray hair entering retirement. I want to experience it myself. Sick of having to live vicariously through stories, pictures, and video clips from 1985. All my teams were great right before I was born. After I was born there have been ZERO championships by any of my teams, and maybe 3 NCAA berths for SJ in 25 years.

Your numbers are off. The Johnnies were 7th with 1754 at the beginning of the season with UCLA one game behind them. They are now 8th all time with 1774. They were in the top ten in winning percentage before this season and I'm not sure where they are now.

I stand corrected. St. John's should have been listed as #7. here's the link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_te ... basketballWorth noting that St. John's has more wins than UCLA, Indiana, Louisville, and UConn - all programs with 3 or more national championships.

Once this season is added, the Johnnies will be behind UCLA in 8th. St. John's has the most victories without an NCAA tournament championship.
