I hope Creighton wins. I think they make the Elite 8. However, Elfrid Payton is a problem in this game. NBA player.

I hope Creighton wins. But, plays an average game today. They need to save their "volcanic offensive explosions" for the later rounds.

While he's a problem, I don't think he has enough of a supporting cast. I also don't think he's as solid all around as Christon, Cotton, Smith-Rivera, Jahii Carson, etc., that Creighton has had to deal with this year. He's really potentially explosive, but this year Creighton has been exposed to that kind of player multiple times. I don't think ULL has been exposed to anyone like McDermott this year, and he's hard to prepare for that very first time, no matter what you think you are seeing on film.

This would be by far the most disappointing loss in the history of the program if it happened. I can't imagine this group of seniors letting that happen. I am surprised by just how confident ULL's players and fans seem to be, though.

The games got SOOOOO far off their start times yesterday, getting progressively worse as the day wore on... So I wouldn't be surprised if 3:10 is an optimistic start time... 5 of 16 games went to OT on day one.

Doug will get his 28-40 points every game this tournament.

Creighton's life depends on the other guys hitting the open 3's. Most importantly, Wragge and Manigat. If both are off, loss (providence). If one is on, i expect a win most games. if both are on, blow out (villanova).

That is really all there is to it for Creighton.

Perhaps. But the Jays are capable of pulling out a win even when nobody else is on. The Jays had probably their worst shooting night of the entire season in the BET Championship game (outside of McDermott). Wragge and Manigat were about as cold as they could possibly be. And with under 2 to go, they were still within 2 points. Just hitting one more shot down the stretch could have resulted in a win. So even when Wragge and Manigat are both ice cold, it's at least plausible that the Jays can find a way to win. Definitely much, much more difficult though.

I have a feeling the Jays roll in this one and cover the 14.

Love McDermott's cuts to the hoop for layups. The ULL defender has been good against DMc for the most part. Tied and TO ULL mid first half. Ready for CU to go on a nice run here...
