Iowa's loss to Northwestern appears to drop them to the wrong side of the bubble with an RPI of 54. Their drop allows Providence to bump up to #51, putting them on the right side of the bubble for now.

While they've been awful I don't see anyone even listing Iowa on the bubble. ESPN has them as a lock.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

They were premature. Iowa has completely collapsed down the stretch, losing 6 of their last 7 and ending with back-to-back bad losses to Northwestern and to Illionis at home.

Iowa is no more ready to compete in a championship tournament than I am. I can't see the committee awarding them a bid AT&T his point.

last 6 or 7 is meaningless now as you know. It's the entire resume.

That is correct, and their entire resume has them squarely on the bubble.

I think body of work includes how you did down the stretch. Whether they will say it publicly or not, the committee is going to be well aware of losing 6 out of 7 down the stretch, including 2 really bad losses. If you watch any of their last half dozen games, they do not pass the "eye test". We will see, but I'd be surprised to see them in.

Either way, the bottom has fallen out of their season over the last 7 games. What appeared to be a lock even if they only played .500 down the stretch has deteriorated into a complete disaster. Even without an emphasis on the last 10 games, they no longer have a tournament-worthy resume.

Relative to the rest of the field, Iowa's is worse.
