The first of two quarterfinal games tonight:
DePaul vs #13 Creighton, 7pm.
The Blue Demons upset Georgetown late last night.
Creighton looking to showcase the National Player of the Year.
With Villanova's loss, the Bluejays step into everyone's crosshairs.

Creighton curbstomped DePaul in their two games this year by a combined 31 points. I have little reason to suspect tonight will be any different, unless the Blue Demons can conjure some Garden magic.

I think this is where the POY takes control of the Garden - Creighton wins this big.

After the upsets last night and today, I think the Jays are going to be dialed in a little more tonight than normal. The Jays won both games during the regular season pretty handily, even though the game at home in early February was in doubt late in the 2nd half.
I think Doug goes for 30+ under the bright lights of MSG and the Jays win by 15. I see DePaul getting off to a hot start carrying on the momentum from last night's upset win over Georgetown, and the Blue Demons will probably keep this game fairly close until about halfway into the second half. That's when Doug and the Jays will put their foot on the gas and coast to a double digit win.
Roll Jays!!!

or or...Doug is exhausted from the Media Blitz he's been on the past few days and DePaul, lead by their rookie sensation, stays close and wins by a buzzer beater.

IMO, DePaul has an initial advantage in that it has a game under its belt on this floor. I think that was a factor in Seton Hall getting on top of Nova early. Inthe MVC with the same format, it was not unheard of for the 7 or 8 seed to jump out on the 1 or 2 early in those games for that reason. Don't forget that DePaul had the game in Omaha down to a point with about 6 minutes to go or something like that. It is going to be a dogfight. CU must limit DePaul from getting offensive rebounds (and don't let Robinson stand around the three point line wide open). I really think it will take CU a while to get going. I just hope they do get going before it gets too late. I sure hope our 3 point shooting is a lot better than it was last time at MSG.

So much for Doug being tired. Man he has a nice touch.

I don't comprehend how they continue to leave McDermott wide open.
