Anyone want to share some memories of unbelievable games you've witnessed your team in at the Big East Tournament? Fans of new schools feel free to mention something from your old conference tournaments.
I still can't believe the first round game between Seton Hall and Providence in 2010. The Pirates spent most of the game steamrolling the Friars and led by 29 points with under 14 minutes left to play. That's when Jamine Peterson went off for Providence, turning the game on it's head. As the Friars came back an cut the SHU lead to single digits, the largely neutral MSG crowd quickly became raucous PC supporters, dying to see the epic comeback completed. After SHU missed a pair for free throws with 8 seconds left, Providence incredibly had a chance to tie. The 3 points attempt at the buzzer didn't fall and the Pirates escaped 109-106 while I had my closest yet encounter with a heart attack.
