They are waiting to announce the Player of the Year? The suspense is killing me!

Seems about right. Im a big Batts fan but prob would switch him and Stainbrook. Just thought Stainbrook meant more to X than Batts to PC. Lavinwood/Hooper prob typing right now how Sampson, Sanchez and Obekpa should have been on the first team. Even the all-BE teams are a conspiracy against SJU.

Batts is a surprise. He had a better year last year in my opinion.

Actually, I think Henton might have had a better year than Batts.

It's really hard to look at what was asked of guys like Cotton, Batts, Henton this year considering their lack of depth, and not reward their effort. Like I said I like Batts a lot. Glad he made it (heart), but think MS was one of the 10-11 best in the league this year (head).

Agree. Stainbrook is a very tough player.

Looks about right. Thought Arch from Nova was a little low and Sampson probably should have made one of the teams (not first team). But otherwise looks about right. POY will be McDermott. I think Wright gets the COY hands down. ROY may be close. Probably between Garret and Jordan. I might give the nod to Garret but would not be surprised if either one got it. Defensive player of he year should probably be Obekpa, but I'm really not sure of the other candidates for that one. You got me on Sixth Man of the Year. That is always a crap shoot anyway.

Defensive player of the year is probably between Obekpa, Derosiers (who actually averaged more blocks per game than Obekpa in Big East play), and Fuquan Edwin who is tops in the Big East and 3rd in the nation in steals.

Just reiterating my opinion from a week or two ago: I don't think Obekpa will get Defensive POY because he didn't get starter minutes. I think that will exclude him from consideration. Also, isn't Fuquan Edwin one of the nation's leaders in steals?
