What, no interest in Butler at DePaul tonight

No highlighted preview? I assume that this was simply a lapse and not a statement that no one cares.

Here is a little know fact: The last time Butler played DePaul in Chicago, DePaul was rated #1 in the country and had a nice, very nice, player named Mark McGuirre.

what's scary about this is the loser...
Butler if they lose out- RPI of 174
Butler if they win DePaul/Lose Seton Hall- RPI is 154
Butler if they lose DePaul/Win Seton Hall- RPI is 159
Butler if they win out- RPI of 134

Seton Hall if they win- RPI is 125
Seton Hall if they lose- RPI is 142

DePaul if they lose- RPI of 162
DePaul if they win- RPI of 144

So if-
DePaul/Seton Hall win- Seton Hall 125, DePaul 144, Butler 174
Butler/Seton Hall win- Seton Hall 125, Butler 154, DePaul 162
DePaul/Butler wins- Seton Hall 142, DePaul 144, Butler 159
Butler/Butler wins- Butler 134, Seton Hall 142, DePaul 144

Guess it's best if Butler wins this game from the looks of things.

Wow, the outpouring of comments on this game is amazing. It looks like Stever and I are the only ones who care about the Big East basketball game.

Here is another piece of trivia:

The Bulldogs haven't beaten DePaul since the 1938-39 season. The Blue Demons lead the series 6-1.

Questions, if no one shows up at the game to watch, does it count in the standings? Is it true that tickets are selling two for the price of one?

hmm interesting riddle...If no one shows up to the game to watch, did it really happen? I say no. A game only occurs if there are known "observers" to confirm that a game occurred. The NCAA vacated Memphis' 2007–08 season due to Derrick Rose's ineligibility status found after the season was over. Derrick Rose never played college basketball! True story.

Games only happen if ESPN, Tim Tebow and Lebron James's broken nose say they happen.

Wow, this game is really bad. 13-2 after 7 minutes. DePaul shooting 11%. What's the record for least points in a half?

Butler is killing it. Still early, though.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

This is one of the worst basketball games of the year. 38-18 Butler at half. Hamilton is tossed for a blatant, intend to injure, elbow to Marshall's neck. DePaul's entire offense is 1 on 1.

The announcers must be drunk as they said the Big East will get 5 or 6 teams into the NCAA. There may be 2000 people in the stands, maybe.

And to top it off, with 3 seconds left in the half, Butler scores on an offensive rebound, then when DePaul throws the ball in, Barlow steals it and hits a 3. AND THE FOX SPORTS 1 CAMERA'S DID NOT CATCH IT. THEY WERE ON BERRY. THEY MISSED THE ENTIRE ACTION. WHAT THE HECK IS THIS. I THOUGHT THIS WAS A PROFESSIONAL TV STATION. AMATEUR HOUR ALL THE WAY AROUND.

I am not sure I even want to watch the second half.
