Great analysis of CU gameplay in the other thread.
Tonight is a chance for the Hoyas to bolster their resume.

Well Georgetown came to play tonight, boy! That was some stifling defense to say the least. Too many bad turnovers by Creighton didn't help matters. Gonna need some more dribble drive by Brooks minus the turnovers to have a chance here in the second half.

I just got here, but...Wow, Georgetown apparently brought Jekyll tonight. No Hyde in sight. When you guys are on you can beat anybody. (I know the second half just started, just surprised).

real interesting question that Gus just asked. Has the conference started to figure out Creighton?
just looked at the scores for Creighton 1st time to the 2nd time... it's pretty telling
1st 9 games Creighton outscored opponents 78.9-66.4. +12.4. 8-1 The next 7 games- it's been 76.9-70.7 +6.1. 5-2.
If you look just at the 7 that they've played back... it's even more telling.
1st time- 7-0 81.3-64.9
2nd time 5-2 76.9-70.7
even look with tonight. 1st time Creighton played Georgetown, it was 73-63. tonight they're down 50-59.

Good win Georgetown, your guard play was stellar! If you would have told me before the season that Creighton would go 5-4 on the road in their first Big East season I would have been ecstatic, and so it is. Scary thing here is that it looks like Creighton will face Georgetown again in the BET quarterfinals. Not excited about that match up.
