Xavier - Creighton on Saturday

This one is sold out and Xavier is actually now resorted to selling "standing room only" tickets for the first time in school history. Should be a good one!

Win this game and the rest of the season Xavier is playing for seeding. I wish I was there.

Not only that, Listerman's (a beer brewing supplier and beer brewer near the XU campus) is having a "Xavier Appreciation Day" both before and after the game with reduced beer prices, a free pint glass, and food trucks.
Xavier will surprise. Never count them out of the Dance.

Geeze...we leave the Valley where we are the Super Bowl game for all 9 road trips and we join the Big East where we are the Super Bowl game again! :D I am totally joking. This is a big game for X and totally understandable for them and the fan base being jacked-up. Win and in 100%. Big game for Creighton too as a win may nudge them towards the 2 line. Either way it should be a great game.

Headed up to Cincy for the game. Would love some suggestions on where to go to drink and eat near campus. Should be some nice weather Saturday (especially compared to Omaha)

It would be a bigger win for CU in my opinion becasuse I really, really want the league title. I know that unlike the MVC, where there weren't more than 2 or 3 teams (including Creighton) who could realistically expect to be in contention every year, with the other 7 or 8 teams maybe having a chance every now and then. In the Big East, other than DePaul until they get the ship righted every team could win the league in any particular season. So, championships could be few and far between. I don't think Villanova is going to lose, so CU must win out to win this thing. I do not want this chance to slip away. We don't hang second place banners in the rafters.

This game is bigger than the Crosstown Shootout. Should be a raucous environment and a Fire Code nightmare.

Yes it is a "big game," but so is Nova next week and it's not sold out yet. I think many want to see and pay our respects to Dougie!
