OK, just one more. How could I forget about our politically incorrect mascot, Willie Wampum? (Get it? Will he whomp them?) He had a massive head and danced/hopped around the floor and along the sidelines. During timeouts, he would get close to the opponents huddle and threaten them with his hatchet. Then, he put his hand to his ear pretended to listen in. The crowd really got into it by stomping out the beat THUMPTHUMP thumpthumpTHUMPTHUMP thumpthumpTHUMPTHUMPthumpthump. It was deafening.
