Villanova at #6 and Creighton at #12 in AP poll. Nice bump for Creighton, I was expecting around 15.

Huge jump for Creighton. Probably a week ahead of schedule. I think they finally looked at their entire body of work and realized they are deserving of that ranking. By this time next week, The big east SHOULD have 2 top 10 teams...and maybe Xavier or PC banging on the door for entry into the top 25.

Drop a game this week and we will be right back in the bottom part of the ratings. The St. John's game is going to be really important - and very difficult. CU comes in off a Friday night game, while St. Johns will have five days to figure out how to slow down Doug without getting torched by Wragge, Manigat and Co. First time ever in MSG will also be a factor - though it will be of great benefit having been there come BE tourney time. Of course, can't get caught looking past DePaul at home Friday.

With the loss to Seton Hall, Xavier pretty much eliminated any shot of being ranked barring going on a really nice run.

Nice jump by Creighton. Congrats. It was as much a function of many teams 10-25 losing as other factors. The voters didn't suddenly get 'Blue Jay religion' this week. Just hold serve and see what happens.
Xavier's loss to Seton Hall has them heading the wrong way.

Just noticed that Duke went 1-1 last week and jumped from 17 to 11. Wow.

Anyone who can play Syracuse close it seems stays where they are at or moves up. Same thing when Pitt played Cuse.

That's why coach K even with all the wins has sooo many NCAAT implosions...overrated. This year will be no different.

I'd give anything to be overrated like Duke!
