Thought it'd be interesting to look at some stats for last 4 years to this year.... some are really telling. These are conference game only stats(from Ken Pom)
looking at everything.....
Efficency. Avg last 4 102.8 12.75 this year 106.6 10th +2.75 spots
Tempo Avg last 4 65.05 22nd this year 65.6 20th +2 spots
Effective FG% Avg last 4 48.2% 23th this year 50.2% 12th +11 spots
Turnover% Avg last 4 19.2% 21st this year 17% 29th +8 spots
Off Reb % last 4 34.6 1.75 this year 30% 26th 24.25 spots worse
FTA/FTA last 4 30.1 19.25 this year 32.7 19th +.25 spot
Block% last 4 10.3 4.75 this year 10.4 10th 5.25 spots worse
3PA/FGA last 4 31.6 25.25th this year 33 17th +8.25 spots
A/FGM last 4 57.15 2.75th this year 54.7 3rd -25 spots worse
3p% last 4 33.05% 26th this year 36.9 5th +21 spots
2p% last 4 47.58% 18.5th this year 47.7 18th +.5 spots
FT% last 4 69.95% 14.25th this year 71.8 7th +7.25 spots

really only 3 things worse this year than the last 3 years. 1 is .25 spots- so not a big deal at all. Only 2 really are Block%(5.25 spots worse) and then the big one Off Reb%(24.25 spots worse). Obviously our shooting has improved big time over the last 4 years. I suppose you could say our turnovers are worse in that we are now the 4th worst conference in forcing turnovers(last year 12th worst)- depending on how you would want to look at that stat.

For last 4 years data, they had the Great West in there- so the # of conferences for the rankings is the exact same(32).
