It's funny for how bad we've been that we are definitely not out of the race.

Neither DePaul or Seton Hall at the bottom?? Figured they'd be locked into those spots forever :D

Not to nitpick, but Creighton didn't dominate in their win over Xavier.

I enjoy these power rankings.

Still can't get used to Gtown that low and especially SJU at the bottom. You would have to think they would win either SHU or Butler game.

Not to nitpick but Xavier didn't go 3-0 in the Bahamas either... ;-). Common opponents OOC Iowa and USC: Nova 2-0; XU 0-2.

What are you talking about? I never said Xavier should be higher in the rankings. I agree with the rankings. I was just nitpicking that single statement. It's ok Gumby.

Just saw Mark Titus' (club Trillion) Top 12 with Creighton mentioned as well as this:

The Billionaire of the Week
Peyton Manning said “Omaha” 31 times en route to an AFC championship, Creighton hit 21 3s to destroy the no. 4 team in America, and now this: Warren Buffett is offering $1 billion to anybody who gets a perfect March Madness bracket. I think it’s safe to say this is the greatest sports week in Omaha history.

Just noticed this sidebar from the link above which I thought was funny:

Phil Jackson could’ve been coaching the Dream Team and they still couldn’t have stopped Creighton. Nights like that happen in basketball. There isn’t always an answer. Sometimes you just have to tip your hat and hope it never happens to you again.

Then I guess I am not following along... What exactly are you (not) nitpicking?
