DePaul Locker Room Problems?

Seems as if Billy Garrett, Jr. has had just about enough of this losing stuff already:

"I'm going to tell the truth. It really comes down to leadership," Garrett said. "That first half, we didn't have any leadership out there. We were all over the place. We didn't come together really until the second half.

"Once we came together, once we played for each other instead of being selfish and playing for individuals, we cut into the lead, but the margin was too big."

Part of me is thinking, "Uh-oh."

But there's another part of me that's thinking, "It's about friggin' time."

Not surprising with the lack of leadership. I mean if Melvin is supposed to be a leader but knows the teams not going to win it makes sense to play selfish and try to up his draft chances.

Disappointing, Young and Melvin are seniors, they need to step up.

Think this is more about Brandon Young rather than Cleveland Melvin.

Young was benched for the entire 2nd half in yesterday's game.

He seems like a nice, honest, hard-working guy.

But he also seems like he's out of his depth, and let's face it... he isn't winning. And I think more than anything, DePaul fans are sick of losing.

Might be uh-oh for the short term, but with Garrett only being a freshman it should be good news for the future.

Not that I'm a OP fan but as a turnaround guy (not a take it to the next level guy) he's more proven over his career than Depaul is at being able to be turned around historically speaking- a lot has to do with that stadium set-up & the school's overall historic lack of commitment to being competitive..
