Providence at St John's, 7pm, FS1.

At Carnesecca Arena. Big game for both teams.
- PC has had 8 days off leading into tonight's game.
- St John's has had a tough BE schedule so far.
- St John's is undefeated this year at Carnesecca.
- PC is home to #20 Creighton in 2 days.
- St John's is a 4.5 pt favorite tonight.
- PC's previous game at Carnesecca was a 30 point loss in Mo Harkless's first ever BE game when he scored 84 points (it seemed that way).
- From 1980 to present, the Friars and Johnnies have played 60 times, with St John's holding a 32-28 advantage.
- Ed Cooley heavily recruited Jakar Sampson, Chris Obekpa and Orlando Sanchez, but lost out on each to St John's.
- 9 of our 10 Big East teams have RPI's between 1-99.

I swear CA has different rims. They are either extra thick or just harder to play on. We never shoot well at CA. We can usually shoot decent at MSG but we come back to Queens and everything is in and out or rattling around.

Curious what to expect: with the on campus arena be packed? with the atmosphere be 'electric' like we saw at Creighton and X? I think this will be the first TV game I have ever watched, at least in part, from CA. [Pacers are playing the Knicks, so the tube will be on the Pacers except for T.O. - then over to ST John v PC.]

Both teams need the win, but St. Johns REALLY needs to win.

He is also on record with saying the officiating is always against SJU.

SJ gave up after the Nova game…you can tell. Packed it in. Clear as day.
