Non-BE Upsets - January 2014.

I thought we could start a thread dedicated to results from other conferences-- unexpected or significant. Kind of a catch-all thread to discuss upsets, players, coaches, conferences and so on.

Wed Jan 8th:
at Missouri
:
Georgia 70.
#21 Mizzou 64.
overtime.
- Georgia has been weak, with losses to Ga Tech, Davidson, Temple, Nebraska, Colorado and George Washington... the best Ga win before last night was Wofford or Gardner-Webb, so they've beaten no one... so this should drop Missouri out of the Top-25.
- Missouri has beaten UCLA and NC State... lost to Illinois and now Georgia.
- The Xavier at Creighton winner on Sunday may get ranked because of this.

Wed Jan 8th:
at UNC
:
Miami (Fla) 63.
UNC 57.
- UNC has wins vs Michigan State, Louisville and Kentucky... and losses to Texas, Belmont, UAB, Wake and now a bad Miami (Fla) team.
- Miami (Fla) has losses to St Francis (NY), UCF, Geo Washington, Nebraska, Va Tech and Syracuse. Best wins before last night were vs Arizona State and La Salle.

The fact that both Miami and Georgia lost to Nebraska pretty much sums up how bad those losses really were.

Frank Haith is absolutely one of the worst in-game coaches I've ever seen, last night was a perfect example
