Games worthy of note 2013-2014

Figured I'd start a thread of games that Big East opponents are playing that have an effect on Big East RPI.

Wake Forest just beat UNC today which should boost Xavier's RPI.

San deigo state is very good. Big win at kansas. Great game.

Not a bad loss for creighton at all.

2 big ones today to me....
Wisconsin beat Iowa- helps St John's- hurts Nova and Xavier
San Diego St beat Kansas- helps Marquette, Creighton, hurts Georgetown, Nova

Yeah and the supposed "neutral" venue was essentially a home game for them (although we don't get the benefit of such in RPI).

Tennessee achieving success in the SEC would be huge for Xavier, but that game is a coin flip. Vandy is not good, so that would suck for Alabama to lose. Very easy to be selfish here in my rooting interests.

Tennessee dominated a decent LSU team on the road, so that will help X.

Alabama looking decent right now (up 13 or so in the 2nd half) against Vandy.

UC had a huge lead but Houston has crawled back within 3 in the 2nd half.

Cincinnati had me worried there...That's a win that Xavier needs to be really good.

So, Xavier opponents are 4-0 on the day, 4.8-0 adjusted for home/road. The probability of winning those games per Sagarin was 72%, 79%, and 46% x2 (not sure how he calculates for the same opponent twice in the RPI Forecast). And all those events appear to have moved Xavier up all of 2 spots in the RPI lol.

Cal won AT Oregon and just became Creighton's best win.

Nice. They are trending nicely, hope they hold their own in a deep Pac 12.
