I've been pleased with the Jays' ability to play good team defense thus far, and we've rebounded pretty well too. But we don't have that post player who can alter shots on the defensive end and give us an inside presence on the offensive end. Doug does very well inside on offense, but when he's out, we have five guys on the floor that want to shoot treys, and I think defenses will figure out how to cause us problems. GW did.
That said, I'm thrilled to be 2-0 at this point in the BE. The team is mature, so I think they'll approach each game appropriately and not assume any games are gimmes.
