12:00p FIU (8-5) @ Georgetown - FS1 > GU -17.5

1:00p NJIT (6-8) @ Butler - FS2 > BU -21.5

2:00p Samford (5-8) @ Marquette - FS Net > MU -24.0

2:00p Villanova @ Boeheim the whiner (11-0) - CBS > VU +4.0

2:30p Columbia (7-5) vs. St. John's (at Barclays Center) - FS1 > SJU -9.0

5:00p Wake Forest (10-2) @ Xavier - FS1 > X -7.5

6:00P Providence @ #23 UMass (10-1) - ESPNU > PC +9.0

HUGE day. 2 BE teams are dogs today so that's 2 solid chance to exceed expectations! 5 games should be in the books given in avg BE teams are favored by 16pts. WF is 10-2 but have a bloated record. 6-1 is my call.

Interesting how Nova is 4 point dogs vs cuse while sju was 3. Yes sju was home but majority of the fans at the game were cuse fans anyways.

Need to go at least 5-2. 6-1 with Nova winning would be huge.

Big game for X today. Wake has a nice looking record but it is kind of misleading. According to KenPom, the have played the 334th toughest schedule in the country. They have played only 2 team in the top 50 (Kansas and Tennessee, both double digit losses) and the next best opponent was #70 Richmond who they beat in overtime. This is also their first true road game. I like Xavier's chances.

I will be ecstatic if Villanova OR Providence win. Hoping for 6-1. Realistically 5-2.

Obviously a big day heading down the homestretch. Coming out at six and one or better could place the Big East solidly in third in current and maybe even expected RPI.

A home game normally provides about a 3-3.5 pt swing to the odds makers. On a neutral court Syr would be a 0.5-1 pt favorite. At Nova it would be a 2-2.5 pt Nova line. The game vs SJU/Syr was in fact AT MSG. Odds makers don't try to guess what % of the crowd will end up being partisan and has no effect on setting that line. Had it been at the Dome the line would have been around 9-9.5.

1. If Cuse fans were in the majority it was a small majority.

2. They had to still travel 4 hours to get to the game.

3. They had the crappy visitors locker room, while the Johnnies had the Knicks full on NBA locker room decked out in SJU logos.

4. The SJU fans were 10 times louder than the Orange fans.

Predicting a big day at the Dome for my Wildcats. Jay has a winning record vs Boeheim; he knows how to attack that zone. Syr has not yet faced the defensive intensity that they will see today. If we can get up into Ennis and Cooney defensively and our bigs stay out of foul trouble I think we wear them down and pull away in the last 4 mins. Nova by 6.

6-1 day with A PC loss in a squeaker.

With yesterday's results, there's a fair chance that the Big East moves into 2nd place in the conference rankings with an excellent showing today.

There will be little to no relative movement among the conferences when the OOC schedules complete.

The Big East will get 5 (with an outside shot as 6) as the 2nd rated conference.
