"The Battle 4 Atlantis might end up with the strongest field of all of next year's nonconference November tournaments after the headliners were revealed Tuesday. The 2014 edition of the tournament in Paradise Island, Bahamas, will include Florida, North Carolina, UCLA, Georgetown, Wisconsin, Butler, Oklahoma and UAB...There is a chance that at least five of the eight teams in next year's field will be ranked in the preseason Associated Press Top 25."

"ESPN will be the broadcast partner of the Battle 4 Atlantis next season, sharing the tournament with AXS TV."

What an opportunity for the Hoyas & BU!

I'd kind of guess Butler will get stuck playing one of the big names 1st round- Florida, UNC, UCLA, or Wisconsin. Georgetown depending on how we do this year may very well also. I'd kind of think Florida, UNC, UCLA, or Wisconsin would get to open up with Butler, Oklahoma, and UAB. With Georgetown in that 4/5 game if you will.

So far I've seen:

Old Spice - Michigan State, Kansas, Georgia Tech, Marquette, Rider, Tennessee, Santa Clara, Xavier

Charleston Classic - Akron, Cornell, Miami, Penn State, USC, South Carolina, and 2 TBA

Puerto Rico Tip-Off - Boston College, Dayton, UConn, George Mason, New Mexico, Texas A&M, West Virginia, College of Charleston

Maui Invitational - Arizona, Missouri, Purdue, Pittsburgh, BYU, San Diego State, Kansas St, Chaminade

Paradise Jam - Seton Hall, ???????

Out the bigger tournaments, the only one that hasn't been announced yet is the Wooden Legacy. Hope that helps.

NIT as well- but that a lot of time isn't done until the Spring.

Ironically, the 4 host teams were just announced for the NIT:

Gonzaga, St. John's, Minnesota, and Georgia

Providence is in the Hall of Fame Classic at Mohegan Sun Casino in CT. The format next year will be pre-scheduled, not bracketed, so there is no "champion".

Providence will have games vs. Notre Dame and Florida State at Mohegan Sun.
