Sun 12/1 BE Game Thread (6 games)

Big slate already in place for Sunday:

2:00p ET FDU vs Seton Hall FS1 > SHU -22.0

2:30p ET LSU vs Butler ESPNU > BU +3.5

4:00p ET Oregon St. vs Depaul FS1 > Depaul -2.0

6:30p ET GW vs #20 Creighton ESPNU > CU -8.5

8:30p ET #3 Kentucky vs Providence FS1 > PC +6.0

9:30p ET SDSU vs #25 Marq ESPN2

Only one loss here would represent a terrible loss (SHU game) while one (CU game) would be a bad loss. With that said 5-1 or better, no questions asked would be great for the BE. 4-2 with at least one of the 2 currently ranked BE teams winning would still be great. 3-3 depending on the mix would be worst-good case!

I love the way this Butler team plays. So solid fundamentally. Grab rebounds with authority, leaving no doubt who's going to have possession. Work for the open, high percentage shot. Play within their their framework. Everyone touches the ball, everyone passes. Excellent motion offense. And Dunham's three off the dribble Wow! These guys get everything out of their ability.

LSU is in trouble against an opponent like this.

Watching Kellen Dunham is like watching the second coming of Chris Mullin when he was at St. John's. I'm loving it. :D

I think most teams who play Butler may well be in trouble if they keep playing the way they are. That's a really dangerous team, even if most people did expect a drop off this year.

I'm getting a little nervous about these games...
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

That's what it's all about. They wouldn't be as much fun otherwise. :D

I hear you. SHU is in a 2-point game and Butler in a 2-point game.

St Louis lost to Wichita State by 5, 70-65, at home.

Yeah, their lead scorer fouled out with a lot of time left in the game and they couldn't hit a shot in the last minute. Too bad, I had that top 15 spot opening up for Nova. Hard to leapfrog if nobody ahead of you loses.
