he can say that all he wants. We need the wins outside the conference though. Bottom line. w/o those wins, we will be disappointed come March. It's not another game at all.

And don't lose by twenty!! What is the status of the two freshman? I was hoping 'indefinitely' meant until Kentucky.

I'll take CC's enthusiasm over your "bottom line" all day. You missed his entire point. Nothing he said meant anything about not kicking UK's a$$, you have no idea what ur talking about..

he said it's just another game. I'm sorry- but it's not just another game. The reality is, we need wins over teams like Kentucky, Kansas, etc. If we don't get them- we won't be looked at as a big boy.

To act like everything is just perfect in the conference like he's trying to say, is just not accurate. 6 of our 10 teams now have 2 losses at least. With Villanova and Providence having huge games this weekend that they aren't favorites in. To act like he's going to have another game like Kentucky this year- nope.

You totally distract from the point of the OP. A lot of people here probably take pride in the words CC used. Just because that type of pride means little to you it's no reason to take the thread off the rails. Go grovel on your own about NCAA bids if you like, some us want to enjoy the entire inaugural season.

No, his point is that he doesn't give a sh!t about Kentucky... he cares about the Friars, he cares about playing mistake free ball, he knows we have talented players, he knows what PC is capable of, he has pride in our conference... PC has spent the last 33+ years playing Georgetown, etc, etc, etc, etc, playing in the best conference. Top to bottom, complete, the Big East remains as good or better than every other conference. Like he said-- UK has great players... congratulations to them... but we or any Big East team is supposed to be in awe of these freakin guys...??? Eff that...
