Before the season starts...keep this in mind
Posted: Thu Nov 07, 2013 9:22 amWe are all very friendly now and I hope that continues, but we all know once conference play starts the competition will be absolutely fierce! I just want to put out there that Johnnies fans as well as all the other fanbases I assume are all thrilled to be in an elite basketball-centric conference after all the realignment BS. We are happy to have Creighton, Xavier, Butler joining us. They bring crazed fans which will only make it more fun. So if I say anything deemed insulting or get annoying, just know it's likely out of a snap judgement or grievance with my Johnnies! Just figured it's worth putting out there before things get thick 
. I know it's early but I already feel a bond forming between the new Big East members and the traditional crew. We all share our love of basketball and we don't let college football dictate anything to us! From here on out I wish every team in the Big East nothing but health, luck, and a bid come March! So excited for this season, and I can't wait to see what happens with tons of intriguing story lines and a ton of very talented teams!
