Xavier has dominated this all time series winning twice as many games as PC.

I was at the last game in 1987, at the then named Providence Civic Center? (a rare X loss in a 26-4 season...actually a PC beatdown)

Look forward to this and many more renewed rivalries.

Certain schools' fans need to learn their place in the BE pecking order. Cool shirts though if I was at Providence I'd probably nab me one of them

Pecking order? Your school may be on a decent run the past couple of years but that doesn't give you the right to disrespect a founding member- or any other school for that matter. Remember that without PC, along with SHU, ST.J, Gtown, and Nova, Marquette wouldn't have been included in the 05 Big East expansion. Those 5 schools fought hard for Marquette and DePaul because none of the football schools wanted them.

Try a decade but okay. And Notre Dame was the school that really fought for us.

Notre Dame was in there too. All of the non-football schools fought for Marquette and DePaul.

All true. I just don't like the attitude that we should all be so thankful for you guys gracing us with your approval to join. You needed us at that time. W/out Marquette and DePaul, the auto-bid would be in jeopardy when the split happened.

Ah, the Big East, where every member is created equal, except some are more equal than others.

I'll tell you what, the differences between the board as it is now and as it will be, say, two years from now will be striking. Irritation is already starting to bubble at the seams; just wait until it starts to boil.

Two years? I'd say we get three weeks into the conference schedule this season and it'll happen!
