Correct after next year the AAC turns into Memphis, Cincy, Conn, Temple and friends. However, its a football conference and for a football conference to have four regular basketball contenders that isn't so bad.

I don't think the BE needs to worry about the AAC. It just needs to worry about being the best non-football conference.

Beat me to it, I just saw this as well. Looks like we have a much more solid all-around conference. Glad we all were able to escape that sinking ship.

As you can see, plan on playing in front of a packed house when coming to Xavier. :D

Seton Hall's percentage of capacity is a bit deceiving. Yes, it would be almost 39% of the entire capacity (somewhere in the 19K-20K range) but the top is curtained off (yeah, that sucks) so we only have about 10K available to sell which would be about 72.63% of our available capacity. I'm really hoping we get back to the days of being in the top 25 in attendance with about 16K+ on a regular basis.

For St. John's, attendance will match whether or not they are good. Carnesecca holds only 5,600 so that will always bring the numbers down. But the Garden holds about 19,000. Now the Johnnies do not and really have never sold out the Garden (we have had two sell-outs over the last three years there). Lavin's first year when we finished third in the Big East had our average attendance there just under 12,000. If we can do that or a bit better, that would be good. Johnnies getting a lot of hype this season in NY so the numbers should be up this season.

Roll over Hakeem and Clyde... amazing how that city abandons teams that lose championships, reminds me of how they threw my beloved Oilers in the trash can.

Providence figures should go up with wins on the court. Sidewalk alum usually come in droves if the team is good.

SMU just got a commitment from one of the top 5 recruits in the country. I bet it doesn't move attendance up at all. The bottom of the AAC is horrible and in 2014 when Louisville is gone, they are a mid major in basketball.
