2014 G Edmond Sumner (Scout #111) commits on Monday, 2013 F Aleksander Vezenkov from Bulgaria commits today, and Remy Abell (transfer from Indiana) will choose between Xavier and SLU soon.

Nice work. Looks like it could be a decent year for you guys next year.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Adding 7 new players...we should be hard to recognize from last year's squad! Can't wait to see if it's enough for the Big East!

Ha. That's pretty much what we were saying last year too. I don't doubt X will have some serious athletes out there, just wondering about Mack coaching them up, and rather quickly too.

Xavier needs to get back to what they always are...hopefully this past season was just an aberration.

This past season was definitely an abberation. It was going to be a down season losing 3 starters: Holloway, Walker and Frease but it was looking to be a VERY down season after losing Lyons, Wells and 2 ineligible freshman. So most X fans are pretty happy with how it turned out.

The Twitterverse saying Abell to XU is a done deal.

Nice work by Coach Mack.
Big East Basketball is what it's always been. Great competition nightly.
If the Atlantic 10 didn't suck, why is everyone looking for the exits?
There is a reason why the A-10 left a team in the Central Time Zone...SLU, your move.

I remember that he was a Bradley commit before Indiana offered. He might be great at XU but hasn't proven much as far as I can tell.
