OK all you conference realignment experts. What happens to Temple in all this mess? If they would just drop football it would be very clear but ... Thoughts?

Good question. Cincy and UConn too. It's too bad their very strong basketball identities get destroyed to be mediocre (at best) in football.

Sorry, no football teams. If they got rid of their football, sure, but you know they won't.

I guess to answer your question, they'll be in the Big East as they're ot going back to the MAC. The A-10 would take them for hoops only if they could leave football in the BE maybe, but I'm sure Aresco doesn't want to do that.

Can guarantee Temple won't be in the new league. I'd rather have St. Joe's anyway if Nova allowed another Philly school.

Temple as a basketball program is very appealing.

I will admit though, that any school with FBS football is a bit of a scary proposition. Perhaps I am colored by all of the football realignment, but I'd be afraid that they will jump at any opportunity to improve their FB situation.

With the Big 10 looking at 16 I would not be surprised if they are added to the Big 10. They would pounce on that in a heartbeat. Not Temple just Cincy and UConn.

B1G will try to add South. Think UNC, UVa, Georgia Tech. If they wanted Cincy or UConn they would have them already.

No one wants UCONN or Cincy. I suspect when the ACC gets raided again by the B1G or BIG XII, they will finally have to take them.

Agree that Cincy prob headed to ACC if indeed they get raided again. If not, who knows? Assuming Temple wants to remain at BCS level, it appears as if they might be kicking themselves (basketball wise anyway).
