Good God, this basically changes the landscape of the BEast. These 2 guys PLUS Ellis is a crazy shift in talent for the Golden Eagles! If they get Bates, one could argue that the Marquette roster is right there with Villanova's!

As long as Carton, Lewis and Garcia stay committed (nothing out there to the contrary), MU will be top half good in conference and a protected seed in the Tournament..... Book it!!

It was devastating in 2014 when Buzz left, taking the coaches and all of the recruits with him. In 2021, we are on the receiving end of that cycle (bringing in a head coach, with his former assistants and all of his recruits).

It's incredible what a change in trajectory the MU program has now this upcoming season and beyond with Shaka leading, compared to what we would have faced with Wojo still on board. One of the very best decisions MU could have made.

Marquette adds Clemson transfer, Olivier-Maxence Propser. Was a 4* 2020 recruit for Clemson and is a 6-9 PF. We are now one over the scholarship projection for this coming season. Someone is leaving in the coming days and weeks ahead (and I don't think it is Garcia).
