The A10 followed the same philosophy for a year or two, with "tiers" of different teams. Then they went back to the way it was before and left Xavier fans wondering why they were playing RPI 200+ Charlotte twice in a season but Temple only once...

interesting- did some looking and they're saying 349 mens teams count for RPI this year. Abilene is one, I wonder who the other is between Incarnate Word, Grand Canyon, and UMass-Lowell. I wonder why 2 of the new teams count and 2 don't.
