It's amazing that more folks would watch Northeastern/Hofstra over Georgetown/Seton Hall though.

looking at ESPN ratings that night-
Kentucky/LSU drew 2.406 million viewers
Notre Dame/Clemson drew 348k viewers

also had Cincy/Temple on CBSSN I think that night.

So it looks like whatever goes up against Kentucky gets murdered from here on.
their remaining schedule-
Sat 21 7pm ESPN (DePaul/Georgetown 8pm CBSSN)
Wed 25 7pm SECN (Marquette/Butler 8pm FS1)
Sat 28 4pm CBS (Creighton/Seton Hall 4pm CBSSN)
Wed 4 9pm ESPN (St John's/Marquette 9pm FS1)
Sat 7 2pm CBS (St John's/Nova 2pm Fox, DePaul/Marquette 2pm FS1, Xavier/Creighton 2pm FS2)

The last one on the 7th is not good for us at all. St John's/Nova should be a great game- but would get largely ignored by the Kentucky undefeated machine.

If/when sports gambling gets legalized in the US, it wouldn't surprise me that Fox would pay sportsbooks to lower the vig on Big East games to get viewers...Most people like to watch a game they bet on, lower vig means more bets means more viewers, which means more money. Everyone thinks leagues will make money from increased viewership, but don't tell me most fans wouldn't watch and bet on an ACC team on espn that is -102 or -103 than a CAA team that is -110.

You have heard of payola before right? It would be this kind of thinking that would keep sports gambling from ever happening and besides that good luck getting the books to lower their vig

Last Tuesday's Georgetown at Seton Hall gets a 0.0 63K is that right? I know UK ast LSU was on, but come'on! :( :( :(

Perplexing to see Saint Bonaventure at television viewing powerhouse Dayton draw 24k.

It was St. Bonaventure and played at home to a sold out UD ARena. 12:30 Saturday on NBCSN and opposite a pretty big game of interst in the neighborhood, Ohio state @ Sparty, why not mention UD @ GW 7pm TV previous FRiday #'s, my recollection it was 225k. When Dayton is playing Bonnie's, Dukes, Fordham on tv its a fairly safe bet that all of the viewers are Dayton related.

The NASCAR Duel at Daytona earned 3.0 million viewers on Fox Sports 1 Thursday night, down 3% from last year (3.1M) but up 53% from 2013 on Speed Channel (2.0M). Keep in mind last year’s telecast was the most-watched Duel since 2000.

The telecast ranks as the 11th-most watched program on FS1 since the network rebranded from Speed Channel in 2013, and the 5th-most watched when the MLB Postseason is excluded.

2.97 rating CBS 3:00 pm Sunday Final Round (to 7:30 pm, 3-hole playoff)

FS1 needs to improve their in game production. It's as if they give the announcers a list of talking points before the game and require them to ramble on about each topic at some point during the game. This usually happens while the game is going on so you get to listen to a meaningless story while trying to watch a game. Last night they were interviewing that injured Butler player Randy Trabbits and did a split screen of the game and Trabbits sitting there watching the game. Thank God I can afford a huge TV or else I would have had no idea what was happening.

It would also be nice if they could get an instant replay on the screen instantly. Maybe they're trying to coin the idea of the four plays later replay? Lastly when showing a graphic of the top free throw shooters in the league they listed Billy Garret Jr. and had a picture of some random white dude up there. He's been DePaul's best player for 2 years now and the network that specializes in Big East hoops has no idea what he looks like. If they want casual fans to tune in they need to stop giving us this 3rd rate production.
