I thought the (Anonymous Eagle) piece was fair and pretty well written. It's saying that we lost everything we counted on next year and while we are reloading with the best CU talent ever on paper, there is no way of knowing whether or not we will come together as a team or if the talent translates at the college level. It even acknowledges the benefits of a soft non-conference schedule before BYU. Those are all facts, and pretty much the same storyline we've been telling each other for the past two months.
The author even joked that he hopes CU fans don't hate him. I think his juxtaposed realities of us being fine or a total dumpster fire are completely justified. Obviously I'm pumped about our potential, but you'd have to be completely naive to confidently believe that so many new guys and so many true freshmen are just going to gel and be homeruns from day one.
Naive as hell, 23 again, wearing my blue shades, and chugging gallons of "blue Juice".
This team has all the pieces to contend nationally and in the BEast. 3 Seniors with experience (elsewhere primarily) in surprising Ryan Hawkins, Keyshawn Feazell, and AOC. A solid returning cast in Ryan K., AOC, Reef, Rati (best PG in EU), & Mo.
The best CU class in history-Kaluma, Miller, Alexander, John C, and the "little General" in Ryan Nembhard. All our recruits have played high-level, extended season hoops, and all are proven winners. With our talent, proven coaching staff, and our 18K rabid fans...I expect this to be a sterling season in 2021-22. Our young Jays are gonna be a force to be reckoned with - and are gonna win with regularity. We've got all the requisite pieces, just need a conductor/orchestrator.
Oh wait a minute... I almost forgot! We got Nembhard, the best PG in 'Merica. He's a once in a generation PG. Consummate leader and floor general, never quits, excellent playmaker and facilitator, makes his teammates better, and is clutch in crunchtime. The "little general" will conduct the Let it Fly/Shooter U show this season.

Must have 1 of those 2 higher than Butler. With what Butler has returning I don't see it.

I think Butler will finish ahead of at least Marquette, DePaul, Creighton, Georgetown, and Providence, so 10th is a really low projection imo. But they are projecting Big East as a really solid conference top to bottom with 91% of the teams in top 100.

You guys are on your 'spring forward-fall back' cycle, aka daylight savings time. Oops.
