If we can somehow round out the 3 games today with victories we will be 40-2. That number will demand attention and you will see every sports outlet take notice.

Good job, Butler! It's even better that it was against overrated Roy Williams. Yes, he's one of, if not THE, the most overrated coaches in college hoops. He seems like he can't make any in-game adjustments, and just relies on his blue-chip talent to take over for him.

Good win for Butler and the Big East.

Totally agree. Great game by Butler today and even better that it was at Williams' expense. Not to mention at the expense of their whiny fans. Williams has an amazing ability to do less with more.

Too bad Lavin never gets the same talent year-in/year-out as Williams does.

Wow…I am really eating humble pie now. First I said Creighton would take a big step back…then they beat #18 Oklahoma. Then I said Butler would be a bottom feeder…and they beat #5 UNC. A TON of credit goes out to those two programs and even PC for taking down unranked ND and FSU which are two very good programs even if they aren't ranked! You get the respect. Let's keep it up!

The fact that Butler, PC, and Creighton are proving that they can be nationally relevant only makes me want SJU to beat Cuse/Duke/Gonzaga/Minnesota that much more. Sick of SJU playing with but not beating the premier programs like Gonzaga and Cuse. This season is the last chance to prove that we won't ALWAYS disappoint. This is the last chance. After this season we can easily be a #8-10 team in the Big East. We won't compete next year. The time is now. I can't remember the last time SJU won any kind of tourney during the season. It would be nice to see this insanely talented team win SOMETHING!

So far the Big East looks great. Butler, Creighton, and PC already look good. Seton Hall is winning without Whitehead doing anything yet. Nova beat VCU and is winning as usual. G'Town is playing well. Plus we have Marquette getting a major recruit next year and Xavier will always be fine. Exciting times. Now let's keep it up! Winning these kinds of games routinely will force writers to write articles saying "Big East Not Dead".

OU knocks off #22 UCLA. Good for Creighton and should open another spot for a BE school next week...the question is, which one?

I like Providence, problem is they are at Kentucky on Sunday.

I think it'll depend on what Butler and Gtown do in the rest of this tourney. If Butler knocks off OU I think they are ranked regardless of what happens in the final. Honestly there's a chance we could see 6 teams (Nova, CU, PC, BU, X and Gtwn) all getting Top 25 votes if they have good weekends. And SH has done great too. But I think when you are undefeated and knock off a ranked team you are almost forcing voters to put you in the rankings.
Go Nova!
