Most of the schools have FOUR TIMES the student body Butler has each year. Butler is also operating in the very heart of Big Ten country where these schools produce 40,000-50,000 alumni every single year. Indiana University is one hour south of Hinkle. Purdue University is one hour north. DePaul produces 14,000 more alumni each year than Butler. Esoterically Butler also suffers from a remarkable "brain drain." Because Hoosiers are inherently intellectually superior to people from other states in the country we often times have to leave the blessed state of Indiana to find these lesser people in mass so that we might make a reasonable living off them. Hoosiers have historically relocated in droves to Milwaukee, Chicago, Philadelphia, Omaha, Cincinnati, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Providence and New York City. Hoosiers and Butler grads specifically have made incredible amounts of money in these locations toying with the vapid nature of their inhabitants.
As far as distractions for Butler grads in Indianapolis there are the obvious ones like the Pacers and the Colts but dig deeper and you will find that Butler has more Mensa members than any other organization or school operating today. The same goes for TNS membership. Meetings often times reach far into the evening where members discuss solutions for World Peace and how to effectively mine for Bitcoin. Bulldog graduates are also very amorous beings and regularly are cited as having scores of different beautiful members of the opposite sex beg them to "stay in" and make love to them one more time instead of attending the Villanova game.
Other than the aforementioned I have no idea why Creighton is a better draw than Butler. I might suggest to Creighton Man that he needs to be thankful and humble about the excitement surrounding his school's basketball program instead of attacking other school's members because there are potentially 500 fewer attendees than he thinks there should be.

The fact school is not in session is a big deal. The students are a big part of the sport and many are out of town. I know many that are coming back early to watch games but not New Year's Eve. I think the Creighton fans need to chill out a bit.

I don't care about attendance. I am looking forward to a big Butler win.

How did this become Creighton fans need to chill out. FDS is like the dicks from Wichita St that just like to stir things up. Just a troll that needs to be ignored. And he posts probably one of the most sick posts regarding Evansville plane crash. Perhaps that should be the person that chills out. As I said in a previous post on this topic, Bluejay fans are excited to be a part of this conference and we liked the conference fans pulling together.

How about if an Admin go ahead and ban FDS? The plane crash comment was over the top and cruel. Those of you who are actively involved in the basketball community know it is an extremely small-tightknit one and there are undoubtedly posters and viewers on this board who were somehow touched by the Evansville tragedy. I know I was. My father's side of the family are all UE grads and there was a family friend's son who lost his life in that accident. Please keep our community focused on the right thing which is our shared love of college basketball. Thanks.

Read my post. I said sorry about it and was referencing the long sleaves the team wears in honor of it. Sorry you feel the need to have me banned because I brought up a sad memory.

Hilarious, up until now there has been a unity about amongst NBE teams. First conference game hasn't even started yet and we are going for each other's throats.

Butler sold out for SLU last year. I tried to get tickets and was unsuccessful.

Surprised they're not sold to the rafters already, but there's 2 days left.

There was a good sized slu fan group there. I sat next to two slu students who managed to sneak in rum and cokes in soda bottles. Fun guys
