St. John's has Vitamin water founder Mike Repole and his billions to bankroll any new coaching hire. Lets hope they hire Bobby Hurley. the guy resurrected Buffalo state and took AZ state to the Final 4 twice. Tom Cluess is another Norm Roberts hire.

St. John's should keep Mullin around for recruiting and skills development. Maybe his players will stay. It's a good part time job for Mullin, why just let him go ???? Mullin wasn't a long term solution at his age, he can really help with recruiting.

Mullin spent more time complaining to refs and tying his shoes than recruiting. Seriously.

From the looks of his roster, he did little if any recruiting from the high school ranks. Majority of their players are transfers, and also some JuCo players as well.

Mullin has not recruited at all these past few years. Literally, zero. I know some of you Jays fans are pissed with McDermott not putting in enough effort, but Mullin has to be the worst in D1. He did not even show up when 4/5 star recruits like Heron, Femi, Sidney, etc showed up for official visits. He STILL did not contact recruits like Cameron Mack and Sidney Wilson even after they committed. No reason to give him a special role for recruiting when he did absolutely zero recruiting as HC.

A different role? Sure, but I doubt Mullin would be interested.

Dawkins didn't win at Stanford. Coach K's coaching tree doesn't have a lot of deep runs.

Even still, i think Bobby Hurley would be good. Pitino would be tops for me.

Numerous mistakes so I wouldn’t pay attention.

Mike Repole is a St. John’s alum who founded Vitamin Water and Body Armor. He’s been extremely successful and there is talk that he may help with the money needed to settle up with Mullin and lock in our next head coach.
