PC was letting St. John's dribble out the clock and yet Pointer decides to pad the stats and dunk the ball. Derosiers did the right thing.

Assuming that's what you meant by 'yes'.
I said "yes" to the idea that we should wait until the end of the season before deciding who the conference POY is.

He's lucky the other players separated them because Pointer doesn't play around with that stuff. It was stupid plays by BOTH sides, not just SJ. SJ shouldn't have gone for a dunk, and PC shouldn't have picked a fight. I think that's totally fair. SJ has been seen as the bad guys for a while now and I know people root against us, even other Big East fans. If there's any team people should get behind, it's us for exposure and because when NYC is good in any high level basketball, it's great for the sport. Our success is also crucial to how the Big East will be perceived. We have the media hype machine over here and if we get headlines, it brings more exposure and hype for the entire conference. Even if we miss the tournament, we may have finally gelled and our core has 1 more season together. We don't lose any important pieces but we may not gain any either. I still give SJ a fighting chance against Nova or Creighton. We don't need both we need 1 of those wins to be in the conversation. After that we need to beat lower half teams and if that has us at .500 in conference and 20 wins with victories over the #36 RPI PC and a #12 Creighton/#6 Nova then I don't even think we need a BET win to get in. Winning a game or 2 would put us over the top.
And yes Burrito, I do get emotional after 6 games decided by 4 or less with half of those heartbreakers against ranked teams that could have us ranked right now if a few things went differently. I never mean anything personally or to attack any program. In other news, this is a good Butler/Marquette game.
Wow…I love this Mayo kid. What do you Marquette fans want for him? How about Lavin and a signed Mullin Team USA jersey?

Act like you've been there before Lavinwood. You are making a great case for DB of the day. Good win. Go out and beat CU for us. It's amazing that the PC fans are taking the loss with class and you're trying to alienate yourself from every other fan base in one night. Relax. Also curious that no PC fans are blaming the refs or calling you guys lucky, etc. You could learn a thing or two from them and others about how to handle both victories and defeats. Or does your being a New Yawker not allow you to show a little class?

Again he was double teamed, so he went to dunk, they fouled him hard, Pointer walked away and DeRosiers pursued him and grabbed him. I'm still in shock DeRosiers did not walk out with a broken nose after that. Do you want to pick and choose who the saints and jerks are, or do you want to be objective? Objectively both sides were to blame. PC fans are not as blunt as we may be, but they definitely implied we have dirty players and before the game most PC fans seemed to think this one was already decided. They may be more subtle, but they have put down SJ as well. They think Cotton deserves POY over McDermott which is ridiculous. Fact of the matter is that many people did not want SJ to win, but we did anyway. Oh well. PC fans on ESPN.com were saying they would take it easily. Anyone who objectively looked at their team stats rankings vs. their conference standing knew they were probably in over their heads. Fanbases don't have to be quiet. Enough with this stupid morality talk. We aren't at church, we are in a competitive conference.

PC was letting Pointer dribble it out? They were f`ing double teaming him, Dom got free and saw an opening to the basket. Derosiers fouled him.
Dom held back and walked away, why did he follow Dom and grab his arm? The play was over.
