Obekpa (and others) Leaving SJU

Every day it gets worse. HELP! SOS! What did we ever do to deserve this? We haven't won a tourney game in 15 years. Make that at least 20 now.

This program lacks the balls to make a bold step in firing Lavin and trying to bring in Calhoun. Obviously he probably would turn them down but go get some unsung guy then. We need a guy who can recruit well (doesn't have to be great) and coach/player develop well.

Would be shocked if SJ doesn't finish last now.

I`m hearing Lavin is in the running for the Cal job. Why would cal want himl? No idea, BUT PLEASE TAKE THE POS.
Hey I`d take Calhoun, if he can get you a NC before he retired then I`d be all for it. Plud he could groom a young guy to take over when he retires.
There`s another rumor of D`Lo to Houston. I`m hearing there will be multiple press conferences this week, the next 5 days will be very interesting to say the least.

I work with a guy who has a younger brother who I also know who plays for Suffolk Community College. He's their best player and led them to a top 10 national ranking in their division. He's trying to contact Lavin to get him to SJ.

Administrator said he's not transferring. He wouldn't be that blunt if he didn't know it as fact. But still even rumors of it are sickening.

We are expected to get our first 2014 recruit today in DeLaRosa and he has nice size at 6'11 but he runs like he has Gotti cement shoes on and he can't jump over a sprinkle. We don't need him to do much though...just get a few layups and rebound, rebound, rebound.
