Creighton apparently has no interest in letting Nova back in this.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Not sure anyone can pinpoint the reason we were less than 100%, but I would suspect the stomach bug going around that McDermott (I assume others too) had on Saturday probably had more to do with their performance than the travel. Not sure if that bug has cleared up yet. Additionally, it was very clear we missed Gibbs when playing from behind. Lastly, Providence played a really nice game at their home court. If everyone is healthy (other than Gibbs) and on their game, I expect a great battle tonight. I expect us to lose a close game just like I expect us to win a close game when Nova comes to Omaha. Although tonight or the return game I wouldn't be too surprised if the results are flipped. Just hope everyone is on their A game so we have some fun basketball to watch.

You boys still under the weather?

I think the bug is out of their system and they finally got over that 2 hour jet lag. :D

Your work in this thread is outstanding. You are very close to displacing billesq as my favorite non-be poster.

Why thank you.

We'll keep rolling the A-10, and hope we get a spot at the Inn.

As a CU alum, I just want to reiterate what a pleasure it is to be playing in the BE. Also, the Bluejays are the most contagious team in the country when it comes to shooting--either everyone is shooting well or everyone is shooting poorly. I'll keep hoping for more of the former!

It's great to have you guys as well. Any school that shares the same passion for BBall is OK in our books. Who is that Wragge guy that lit it up tonight? Is your go-to shooter? Strange to hear Creighton being Mentioned and Doug wasn't the main attraction.

After watching the Creighton-Nova game our offense looks particularly anemic.

Offense? Is that the time when your team has the ball?

As Rick Majerus would say: "Offense is that time between defensive stops".
