Well, Providence's RPI with this win is now 47 so they are probably on the bubble now. Good thing about losing on the road in the Big East?? Most of the teams are good so our RPI went from 14 to 15.

Congrats PC, great game, Cotton is as advertised and has a great supporting cast. As Omahanian said, that was definitely our first real BE test, not a good time to go cold from 3, but for us there's never a good time for that :D

Fair enough but not fouling was dumb. They could have stopped the clock about three times with around 2 min and change to go and instead they backed off and let providence bleed over a minute off the clock on multiple possessions,

Very impressive win Providence.

What a crazy conference this is going to be.

Perhaps it's time to throwout all the standard perceptions for all the teams. Seton Hall looked impressive on the road today, much to the chagrin of Hoya fans, I imagine, and they did so notwithstanding the Hoya's personnel issues.

Put your seat belts on folks. This is going to be a ride to the end. As Stockton noted on tonight's broadcast, we haven't even run through the full rotation yet, so we're still learning at that level as well.

Here's your answer according to CC:

That game was without Teague and with some of the worst reffing in the BE this season.

Wow, another result i wasnt expecting from PC. Good gameplan slowing the ball down and taking high-percentage shots. Rebounding was key too. I kept waiting for the Jays to go on one of their lightning fast scoring runs, but it just never happened. McDermott has some amazing moves... quick drives to the hoop, perfect fadeaways, and even some Kevin McHale type low post pivot moves... even in the loss he still had 20 points. Coach McDermott seems like a great, classy guy too. Really looking forward to watching CU at Villanova on Monday night.

PC played about as well as they can tonight with the bodies they have. Close to a perfect game for them.

No idea how fans, journalists and coaches were picking this PC team to finish 7th preseason when Dunn and Austin were expected to be available.

Nice to see a packed house with a lot of energy. Good job last night, Providence.

I hope PC doesn t lose focus when Butler comes to town. They are hungry for a win and PC needs to protect the home court. Cant rest on the laurels of beating a team like Creighton
