I was at that one. Arch Madness was so much fun as Creighton would bring thousands and thousands of fans are just overwhelm the town and bars. There was an article the first year after we were in the Big East about the economic impact on St Louis of not having Creighton in the Valley.

I think that Nova/Uconn BET championship game is off by a day. That '95 season was probably when I first started watching college basketball, and my conference of choice was the BE with Kittles, Iverson, Allen, and so many other great players. This was before UCONN's first national title, but man they were always tough and making deep tourney runs.

can you believe it's been 6 years since that crazy game for UConn vs Cincy that went to 4 OT? 6 years to the day actually.

So bringing this back.
Saw that today was the 40(Gasp!) year anniversary of that Georgetown/Virginia game at the Cap Centre. Ewing/Sampson. Dec 11, 1982! My gosh.
