Xzuperman. C’mon man...snap out of it! The injury is temporary- Zach will return in December. The good
thing about new players is they often bring the good..:as well as tHe bad. I expect a couple of your newbies
to surprise and play above/beyond limited expectations.

It’s a TEAM game...the Musketeers will adapt & overcome. No worries!

If you can believe it.....there is starting to be some legitimate chatter that ZFree will be out much longer than was previously indicated. Even hinting at a medical Red Shirt if the foot (bone fracture?) doesn't respond really well to rehab. Nothing official of course, but I think it's safe to say that the injury is more serious than Xavier will make public.

There is a silver lining if he ends up out for the season....he gets to torment y'all as a 4th year JR/5th year SR.

2. Xavier

This should be the best season yet under fourth-year coach Travis Steele. He has two preseason first team all-league guys in Zach Freemantle (16.1 ppg, 8.9 rpg) and Paul Scruggs (14 pts, 5.7 apg, 4.0 rpg), but the catch here is that Freemantle is out for at least the first five weeks of the season (foot), according to a source. Still, if he can be back by Christmas we like X to be No. 2 in the conference. If Freemantle's injury lingers, Xavier should be no worse than fourth and still in the NCAA tourney convo. The Musketeers return nine players from last season's team and add two solid transfers in Jack Nunge (Iowa) and Jerome Hunter (Indiana). Nunge's usage will certainly increase with Freemantle out. Xavier will win with a variety of looks, but it all starts with Scruggs, who has a case as the most reliable player in the conference.

When conference play begins, I'll be rooting for the Musketeer to get their butts kicked a lot, but Coach Travis Steele has assembled a solid veteran team this season, so I would be surprised if it happens very often. Xavier Musketeers Stats 2021-22 - ESPN

Well... so much so for the Med RS for Freemantle, huh.

Good that he is back...as expected. Xuperduper's overreaction notwithstanding.
Let's clean up the remaining non-con slate and Git to it!

Kyky Tandy out for the year. Kid can't catch a "break". Reportedly a stress fracture needing surgery.

That sucks, such a dynamic player with lots of upside.... seen that story on our end with Bryan Antoine, who supposedly can finally play... just as this covid shit starts again.

Hoping Kyky has successfull surgery and recovers quickly. Kid has a lot of physical skills.
