George Washington just beat Wichita State to win the Diamond Head Classic. Good result for Seton Hall as it likely vaults their win over GW into the good win category. The Colonials should finish non-con play at 10-3 (losses all on the road to UVA, SHU, and PSU- who have a combined 3 losses and are unbeaten at home). They were then picked 2nd in the A10 preseason poll, but they've looked every bit as good as VCU so far and could certainly win the conference.

Even worse? As if it was bad to begin with? Barring a complete collapse, Wichita State will remain a top 25 team throughout the season and may stay unbeaten at home. No team is gonna be heavily penalized for losing to a top 25 team on the road. However, the neutral court win will likely gain GW some national attention and a strong season in conference play could have them flirting with the top 25, thus giving Seton Hall's resume the big non conference win that it currently lacks. GW winning helps more than WS losing hurts.

Noteworthy just because they won on a last second tip in by Florida into the FSU basket!

Pitt lost to Wofford among others.

The first win vs a top-5 ranked team in Rutgers' history... apparently their road to the 1976 Final Four avoided top teams.
