I disagree. The shooter has to be given room to come down. Arcidiacono was underneath him. Regardless, it wasn't a blatant. They hadn't been calling charges all game even when they should have. The announcers made a point of discussing that. Then all of a sudden they're calling a charge to decide the game??? Outrageous.
I can accept a certain way of calling the game even when I disagree as long as the refs are consistent. But in this case, they took something they'd been calling one way all game and called it the opposite way.
Wow! Arcidiacono just hot clobbered and it's a no call!!!
BTW, every time Gardner makes that bump move going to the basket, it's a charge but they never call it.
