Saying we don't know that about the AAC is like saying we don't know if Microsoft wants to make a lot of money. I don't think any of us would be able to pull up a quote from a Microsoft board room, but still, we know it.

The AAC and C-7 presidents brought Tulane into the league. Rutgers is going to the Big 10. Stranger things have happened.

As soon as someone is certain on conference alignment, it is easier to judge their credibility.

Sure. The presidents will pay no attention to what Fox has to say on the matter.

Where did I write that the Presidents will not pay attention to Fox's input on prospective expansion opportunities down the road? I was addressing a very specific matter: that expansion decisions, if any, will be owned by the Presidents, which is to say that they won't be initiated or owned by Fox. Otherwise, if the Presidents initiate a discussion concerning possible conference expansion, they'll certainly call in Fox at the appropriate time to gain their insights and input.

Given that Fox is footing the bill, I think it's a little more complicated than that.

Okay.

There has to be a drinking game made regarding how long it takes someone to mention adding either VCU or UConn in a thread. Please, someone come up with some parameters, because the amount of liquor consumed would be INSANE.

Just stop it already. UConn is a 0% chance and VCU is probably <5%.

Since you're handicapping it, who are the leaders?

The announcers have been repetitive, but they're right: This Dayton squad is a very good passing team. Let's see if they keep the pedal to the floor and blowout Cal...or maybe they'll just pull a Dayton.
